So I finally finished what I was actually photoshopping. This is a scaled down version, in reality it’s about 3 metres long and is probably going to be printed on canvas one of these days. As always click to see the whole pic.

Sitting in the library at school and playing minesweeper while I wait for the lovely acoustic Placebo I’m downloading to finish. Yay for high speed internet at school and gah, a whole ton of people in here are playing halo against each other and they seem to feel the need to provide a running commentary. So fucking annoying. Does the world really have to know you just died? And do you really have to announce it in such a loud obnoxious voice? Rah. Makes my headache worse.

Oh hai. I’z bored. And stuck at stupid afterschool class. Much fail. Srsly. But there is lolz from teh sloganiser. It is much win.

I’m totally going to take over the world. fo srs. I was a working on my plans for world domination today and they are epic win. I can not fail.

Gah, I have an English SAC tomorrow. I’m so unprepared. I have to write like an 800 word essay on euthanasia and I’ve barely researched. So going to fail.

School sucks, can’t wait until I’m finally finished and can get on with my life. The people here are great but the rest of it is just fail. The problem with going to such a small school is the lack of choice in subjects and the lack of decent teachers. I really want to drop out of art, my teacher has no idea what the hell she is doing and is really annoying. Plus I have pretty much no artistic talent at all. She pretty much told me to drop out and do politics instead. And here is the thing, if I drop out of art I have to do International Politics, or possibly environmental science or Chem, none of which I enjoy, or lose a subject. Gah. It would be nice to have a school with a bit more choice. The only subjects offered here for VCE are, English, Maths Methods, General maths, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Drama, Music, Art, International politics, Information Technology, Multimedia and Health. 12 subjects. Most schools here have 30+

And the subjects taught here usually aren’t taught very well. I think my english teacher is possibly the only one that really knows what he’s doing. Brian, my maths teacher, tends to not teach us what we’re supposed to be learning. So many times he’s gone off on a tangent about the universe, or aliens or Scientology or even telling us that suffocating someone in helium doesn’t leave a mark on the body. This relates to maths how exactly? And then he goes off and yells at people when they don’t understand the maths. WTF? Maybe them not understanding it has to do with your crappy teaching. Ever consider that?

And then there’s my Info Tech/Multimedia teacher who whist harmless is mind numbingly boring and knows nothing about what he’s supposed to be teaching. He talks constantly about his pen collection or his guns but when you ask him a simple question relating to your coursework he does not know the answer. Not to mention the fact that the text books we have for those classes are both hopelessly outdated. They require the use of floppy disks for fucks sake. They stopped producing those years ago. Gah.

My art teacher has only been teaching for a year and does not know WTF she’s doing. This is her first year teaching art and she has no idea what the class is supposed to entail. If she does not like a piece of your work she’ll edit it, not asking permission or even just giving suggestions, just straight in there with the pencil. She does not give constructive criticism or tell us how to improve, just tells us our art “needs work” or “lacks meaning”. Use a medium she does not like and your work is not “art”. Art is an undefinable thing that can not be restricted to certain mediums you stupid woman. We are also forced to endure and hour a week of “art theory”, something everyone in her class dreads. Basically it’s a slideshow of various art work we have to interpret and if our interpretation varies even slightly from hers it’s wrong. No talking about the techniques used or how the artwork was produced at all, just trying to figure out the hidden meaning in everything. She also tends to use our art theory lessons as an excuse to go off on one of her tangents, yesterday at least half the lesson was her talking about feminism and why she doesn’t wear a bra. I do not come to school to hear you talk about your saggy tits or your hatred of men thanks.

Music is pretty much fail as well. Almost everyone in year 11 and 12 takes music so there’s roughly 30 kids in the one class which is just pure pandemonium. My teacher has only a vague idea what everyone is supposed to be doing and basically lets everyone just do whatever the fuck they want every week. When it comes time for people to record their songs he tends to change things and rewrite their music to the point where it’s not their own anymore. I’m doing a slightly different music course than the rest of my class and because of this he’s even less help to me than he is to everyone else. He doesn’t understand the vast majority of what I’m supposed to be learning, leaving me to try and teach myself or learn from what resources I can find. It’s frustrating and I’m probably going to fail because of this.

Sigh. Life fails.

I haven’t written in here in forevers. iFail. I should blog more. Srsly. Though I doubt anyone but me will actually read this. haha.

Today was no school coz the teachers all decided to go on strike. Yay. I should probably spent the time doing homework but instead I spent the majority of it on the interwebs or making jewelry. Though I did sorta start to research euthanasia for that huge essay thing I have to write soon. Gah. I do not wanna do it. It has to be done in class and that’s hard with all the people and the distractingness. Blah. Essays suck. I wish school was waaaay easier. Like it was in primary school. yas. It should be so.

I’ve just realized how random this blog is. Not just this post but my entire blog. One minute I’m going on about genetic engineering and the next I’m talking about the adorableness of Stefan Olsdal and the epicness that is Placebo and AFI.

Oh man, how awesome would it be if Placebo and AFI played a show together. That would rock. Too bad it will probably never happen. Sigh.

And now I think it is time to take my random and non sequential thoughts elsewhere.
